Setup Walkthrough

Purpose

Explain first-run setup for operators.

Steps

  1. Start server
  2. Open setup route
  3. Enter DB and site values
  4. Create owner account
  5. Configure analytics metadata and visual defaults
  6. Confirm installation and lock setup

Notes

If setup is already complete, route is locked and requires controlled reset workflow for fresh-install state.

If a private opero/storage/system/demo-mode.json file exists on the server, Opero switches into demo mode automatically and uses that file to prefill and lock demo-only values.
