Opero Quick Start Poster

Use this as a one-page runbook for daily publishing inside Opero Admin.

1. Open the Workspace

  1. Go to Work -> Overview.
  2. Confirm System Status shows green checks.
  3. If hosting changed, run Relocation Helper before editing content.

2. Build Your Structure

  1. Open Work -> Series and create your series first.
  2. Open Work -> Works and add works under each series.
  3. Attach media per work (images and optional model files).

3. Build Exhibitions

  1. Open Career -> Exhibitions -> Add an Exhibition.
  2. Add manual works and optional linked series.
  3. Use Sync Series for Ongoing Exhibitions only for live/upcoming exhibitions.

4. Update Public Narrative

  1. Open Career -> Bio to edit biography versions.
  2. Open Career -> Artist Statement to save and set display version.
  3. Open Media areas for press and downloadable assets.

5. Validate Before Publish

  • Check slugs for consistency.
  • Confirm date ranges and ordering.
  • Confirm linked works and exhibitions in preview lists.

6. Publish + Verify

  1. Use Visit Site from the sidebar.
  2. Review Home, Gallery, Series, Work, and Statement pages.
  3. If anything looks stale, refresh data and re-check links.

Fast Troubleshooting

  • Missing content: Verify item is saved and not filtered.
  • Wrong links after move: Run Relocation Helper and verify site URL.
  • Exhibition missing new series works: Enable sync only for active/upcoming exhibitions.
  • Statement not visible publicly: Set the intended statement version as display.
